Dynacargo
Dynamic Cargo Routing On-the-Go - Dynamic routing cargo moving (Dynacargo) co financed by the European Regional Development Fund and National Resources within the National Action Range "Sinergasia 2011". The main objective of Dynacargo is to develop a flexible fleet management system of waste collection improving the management if the load in the bucket, in order to reduce human errors, to free track drivers from the load management, thus optimizing the use of vehicles and staff and to reduce emissions and the costs associated with the vehicles (fuel, maintenance, etc.).
PODS
PODS is a public deliberation system which incorporates a set of fundamental, advanced and innovative issues regarding a public online deliberation system, based on Public Deliberation basic principles. The system architecture design is based on an innovative approach which allows decision makers (also called authority) or citizens to propose a theme for deliberation and results in presenting a winning proposal about an issue. The system supports the upload of a deliberation theme, proposal setting and an iterative process which leads to a winning proposal. Citizens can be categorized by various criteria and provide their opinions via comments or relevant documentation and vote. The whole process is transparent to the public through rating and publication and takes into account political analytics.
MeACT
The MeACT proposal aims to develop and validate new ICT-based ideas and approaches to empower and reciprocally encourage citizens in need of guidance to create, improve and maintain a quality framework for daily living. In addition, the proposed framework is expected to support active aging, as this will help to improve the daily habits of citizens in a way that will be reflected in the overall improvement of their lifestyle.
