Dr. VASSILIS TRIANTAFILLOU obtained his Diploma and his Ph.D. from the Computer Science and Engineering Department of the University of Patras (Greece). Currently he serves as a Professor, of the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department, School of Engineering, University of Peloponnese, Patra, Greece and the director of the Network and Digital Transformation Lab -NetDiTLab. His main research interests are in the area of Networks, Telematics and New Services. His research also includes eGoverment, edemocracy and Political Issues and their applications. The last few years he publishes research articles in Social Network Analysis and edeliberation. His professional experience focuses on the design, implementation and management of projects in the fields of Design and Analysis of Networks, design and implementation of Open Distance Learning Tools and eGoverment applications. He has extensive administrative experience {Head of Research Unit 6, CTI (1996-2001), President of the Telecommunications and Networks Department, (2004-2014) elected Rector of the Technical Educational Institute of Western Greece (2016-2019)}.

He has published over 40 papers in various well-known refereed conferences and journals which received over 300 citations.
