Biography

Georgia Rokkou is a PhD candidate in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Peloponnese. The title of the doctoral dissertation is “Techniques and methods of analysis of modern Social Networks”. 

She received a master’s degree in Technologies and Infrastructures for Broadband Application and Services from Computer & Informatics Engineering Department in Technological Educational Institute of Western Greece. She specialized in Sentiment analysis for the Greek language through her MSc thesis.

She is also a graduate at “Computers and Informatics Engineering Department” of Technological Educational Institute of Western Greece. She has knowledge in several programming languages and her thesis was on “Nationals and Internationals Politics and Strategies for the creation of Network Infrastructures FTTH”.

The main object of her studies is Computer Network Technologies but also Mobile and Wireless Communications.

Georgia is a member of the laboratory “Network Technologies and Digital Transformation Lab – NeTDiT” in the department of Electrical and Engineering Of Computers of the University of Peloponnese.

Participates in the research project “PODS_ Public On Line Deliberation System” and the research project “MeACT_Integrated Active Living Support System Based on ICT” in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the University of Peloponnese.
